About
Based in the Scottish Borders, Dynamite Initiatives takes a curious, creative, and collaborative approach supporting corporate and community-based clients. We are a collective of specialist creators with extensive experience supporting organisations and communities to develop and deliver successful outcomes.
The collective is led by Lisa Cowan who has more than 30 years’ experience in the media industry including press, radio, and corporate film. She is also a professionally trained voice over artist, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
As well as corporate environments, Lisa has shared her extensive media experience in community learning and development settings supporting groups and individuals to gain a louder voice. Much of her work has benefited vulnerable and disadvantaged communities. She takes an inclusive and multi-agency approach to help ensure the best outcomes for project participants. Many of these projects have been commended by HMIe, the Care Inspectorate and Scottish Government, as well as winning awards. Lisa is also a founding director of a grassroots development trust, went on to set-up a successful community led magazine during Lockdown, and now nurtures an extensive team of volunteer writers and photographers in her spare time.
